Clovis Community College (CCC) is located in the heart of eastern New Mexico, a vibrant community of approximately 40,000 citizens. The College opened in 1964 and became part of the New Mexico State University system in 2010.
As the only community college within a 70-mile radius, CCC is the educational leader in eastern New Mexico providing high quality, affordable and accessible education to a diverse student population. CCC serves approximately 4,500 students and delivers both degrees and certificates to meet their educational goals.
CCC offers Associate degrees with concentrations in Arts, Science, and Applied Science. Additionally, CCC offers 19 Certificate Programs ranging from Accounting Technology to Welding Technology. CCC also provides individualized instruction through its Limited Entry Programs and Part-time Learning Program, allowing students to take classes on their own time.
The College has transfer agreements with several four-year colleges and universities allowing students to continue their studies after completing their degree at Clovis Community College. Additionally, the school supports student clubs and organizations that provide leadership and social development opportunities on campus.
Athletics are an important part of the CCC experience and the school fields a variety of teams that compete against regional community colleges and universities in various sports including basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, and golf. The teams have had much success and have won several championships over the years.
The unique location of CCC allows students to enjoy a variety of natural attractions in nearby areas such as Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Blackwater Draw National Monument, and more.
