At the Person County Museum of History it’s our job to tell the stories of people in our community. The story of Enos Slaughter sliding into home plate and winning the World Series. The story of Oscar Scott Woody who found himself trapped in the mail room on the Titanic. The story of a runaway slave who went on to become the President of the National Medical Association. These are the people that inspire us. These are people that change the world.
