To get to know us better, let me tell you a bit about our history. We started out as a military institute – National American University (NAU) got its start in 1941, when Colonel James J. Bischoff established a correspondence training program that served military personnel and veterans. We have come a long way since then. In the intervening years, NAU became an accredited college offering both residential and online programs across several locations nationwide.
