About Center for Allied Health Education

Located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, the Center for Allied Health Education is a medical school that's been providing quality healthcare to the NYC community since 1994. From its humble beginnings as a small lecture hall in a renovated warehouse, the Center has grown into a fully accredited medical school that offer a wide range of programs to choose from, tailored to the needs of each student.

The Center for Allied Health Education's mission is to empower students to become effective healthcare providers through comprehensive and innovative educational programs. Moreover, CAHE follows the best-practices model of teaching by exposing students to all facets of healthcare, including basic sciences, clinical practice, and research. This allows for truly comprehensive education in the field, as well as giving students the necessary preparation and certifications required for employment in the healthcare field.

At CAHE, students have the option to pursue an Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS), a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science (BSAS), and a variety of certificate programs. The AAS and BSAS programs provide comprehensive education across specialties such as nursing, medical assisting, physical therapy, radiology, and healthcare management. Certificate programs are available for those looking to hone their skills and training in specific areas such as emergency medical services (EMS), patient care technician (PCT), and phlebotomy technician.

What makes CAHE unique is their commitment to providing hands-on training opportunities to their students. Each program is led by experienced faculty members who mentor students throughout their educational journey. CAHE also boasts an impressive student/faculty ratio of 10:1 which means that each student can receive individualized attention from their teachers. Additionally, CAHE has developed strong partnerships with many local healthcare agencies and organizations to ensure ample clinical opportunities for their students during their program.

CAHE also places great importance on giving back to the local community. The school hosts numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year for its students such as mentoring at-risk youth, organizing food drives, and helping out at senior centers. This aligns with CAHE's core value of community involvement and engagement with our local residents.

At CAHE, we believe in creating quality healthcare professionals who are prepared to deliver excellent services to patients and communities alike.
