ForældreIntra is a closed system for parents to students in our school

About Westminster College

When the minds of men and women wander to the halls of learning, none can claim to have a greater reverence for education than Westminster College. Nestled between the beauty of the Missouri River and the foothills of the Ozarks, Westminster College has been a beacon of learning for over a century and a half.

It was in 1851, in the wake of the California Gold Rush and despite the difficulties of an unsettled frontier, that the Rev. Dr. William Fowler founded Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. What began as a humble religious institution has grown into something much more expansive, stretching far beyond its original purpose. Today, Westminster College is home to over 1400 students and offers a wide selection of majors and minors.

The classes taught at Westminster make up just one aspect of what makes it unique. It has always been a place where both knowledge and personal growth are respected, from the faculty engaging in research projects to student clubs finding strength in building relationships with each other. As part of this commitment to growth and opportunity, Westminster offers Division III Athletics as well as an Honors Program for those looking for more rigorous coursework.

The campus of Westminster is well kept, with buildings like the Church-McKenzie Library providing both physical and digital resources for students. There is also an Office of International Programs which assists students in studying abroad, opening new possibilities and perspectives on life. In this way, Westminster brings new knowledge not just to their student body but also to their neighboring communities.

The mantra of Westminster College is that “learning has no boundaries”. It is a place devoted to acquiring knowledge but also to advancing understanding, fostering personal development and shaping citizens who are not only leaders on their campus but also active citizens in their communities. It is a place which emphasizes learning as a lifelong pursuit no matter where one’s journey may take them.

Westminster College has been a pillar of learning in Missouri since its inception and continues to provide opportunities for individuals from all walks of life to broaden their horizons and become more knowledgeable citizens.
