At the heart of the School is the mission to prepare leaders for the church and world. We are committed to the pursuit of rigorous scholarship grounded in faith, thoughtfully engaging Scripture and the Christian tradition in order to foster the growth of individuals and communities of faith. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and experiences and our faculty bring their passions and expertise to bear upon the work of preparing faithful leaders.

We strive to create an environment that promotes exploration, questioning, and dialogue. Our faculty are committed to teaching with creativity and passion, encouraging students to think critically and generously. Our courses explore topics related to scripture, theology, ethics, history, spirituality, and more. We offer opportunities for students to learn in both traditional classroom settings as well as through independent study.

The School also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities for students to explore their interests. There are student organizations, such as the Student Senate and the Young Leaders Organization, that provide leadership opportunities and a forum for peer-to-peer dialogue. The Student Ministry program provides a way for students to engage with local communities through service projects, internships, and more. We also provide spiritual formation opportunities such as retreats, worship services, and other events that foster spiritual growth.

The School is also committed to creating an inclusive community that celebrates diversity in all its forms. We have programs that promote racial justice and reconciliation, gender equality, interfaith dialogue, LGBTQ+ inclusion, mental health awareness, and more.
