It was the autumn of 2008, when I heard about the Shepherd's College, located at 1805 15th Ave, Union Grove, WI 53182, USA. The news spread to every corner of the US like wildfire and stirred up an excitement that could be felt all around. Everywhere people talked and whispered about this place with an awe and admiration.
As a student of magic looking forward to expanding my knowledge and honing my skills, I was particularly intrigued. So much so that I decided to take a trip to Union Grove to get to know this place a little better.
The moment I stepped through the gates of the college, I knew why it had become the talk of the town. The campus had been built with a lot of love and care, in order to create an atmosphere conducive to learning and emotional well-being. The students were extremely hospitable; they welcomed me warmly and quickly made me feel like part of their family.
The teachers at Shepherd's College were some of the sharpest minds in the country; their teaching strategy was revolutionary and delivered brilliant results. They had combined theoretical knowledge with practical training to create an environment that allowed students to appreciate every moment of their studies.
More importantly, the college had created an atmosphere for students to celebrate cultural diversity. During my visit I got to taste different cuisines from all over the world, watch theatrical performances from everywhere, and even learn languages that I never even knew existed!
The type of education that the college imparted was simply splendid, rivalled only by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (which I know better than most). In addition to this, Shepherd's College also offered various extracurricular activities such as football, basketball, tennis and chess. All of these activities allowed students to explore their surroundings and strengthen their bonds with fellow pupils.
