As a student who has had the amazing opportunity to study here and gain from the collective experience and expertise of outstanding faculty, I cannot help but recount my journey and share with you the insight I have gained.
My first experience with UW-Platteville was attending an open house. What struck me most about this university was its quaint, small town atmosphere. This was no ordinary university – and I immediately knew that if I chose to pursue my academic goals here, I would be doing something special.
When I later became a student at UW-Platteville, I found that the warm and welcoming nature of the campus community was only exceeded by the tremendous academic excellence offered by the institution. There were numerous opportunities to get involved in a variety of activities both in and outside of the classroom. For instance, I joined an engineering team project which involved designing solutions to social problems. Through this exercise, I learned valuable skills such as creative problem solving and communication which will undoubtedly serve me well in the future.
On top of the academic excellence, UW-Platteville also offers students numerous conveniences such as free bus passes to and from campus, free meal plans for students living on-campus, and a variety of student discounts for off-campus services. All these amenities make living on campus a true pleasure!

In my two years at UW-Platteville, my experience has been nothing short of incredible. Being a student at UW-Platteville has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional college experience.
