A school with a long historical tradition
In 1888, Sct. Joseph Sisters of Mrs Chamberlain Berling handed over an area in Ordrup, where the same year was the beginning of the school which, after several extensions, today covers an area on the one hand going from Skovgårdsvej 11 to Nonnestien and, on the other hand, going up to Ordrupdalvej. Sct Joseph Søstrenes School has worked in Ordrup for over 100 years. Alone that fact emphasizes an important part of the school's identity. Throughout these many years, Sct. Joseph Sisters and many employees with and after them created a sustainable and healthy foundation that makes the school at the same time in peace and development. The school wishes, in its Christian tradition, to keep a watchful eye on what the development of time requires of us, considering a task of living in time and not just over time. With our particular Christian goal, it is our ambition to create both continuity in change and unity in diversity.
