Welcome to the Alabama Wildlife Center, the perfect spot for a family day out! Located at 100 Terrace Dr in Pelham, AL, the center is dedicated to providing education and rehabilitation for local wildlife.
The Center has been open for over 35 years, and is staffed by knowledgeable and caring individuals who are passionate about the conservation of wildlife in Alabama. Visitors can explore the exhibits and learn all about the various species that call Alabama home. From birds of prey to songbirds to small mammals, there's something of interest for everyone!
The center also offers educational programs, as well as a variety of volunteer opportunities. Whether you're interested in helping out with wildlife rehabilitation or learning more about conservation efforts, you'll find a place at the Alabama Wildlife Center.
Of course, you don't have to be a volunteer or a conservationist to enjoy the center. Visitors can take part in activities such as feedings, bird banding demonstrations, and special events. You can even join a guided tour and catch a glimpse of some very impressive birds of prey in their natural habitat!
If that isn't enough to get you excited, the center also houses a gift shop where you can purchase souvenirs, books, ornaments, and more. You can even adopt an animal! For a small fee, you can adopt a raptor or owl and receive an adoption certificate as well as other goodies.
