The Confederate Collection houses rare books, letters, diaries, photographs, newspapers and manuscripts related to the Confederacy during the Civil War. This collection includes one of the few surviving copies of General Robert E. Lee's last order to Confederate troops from 1865.
The Civil War Collection is composed of more than 200 pieces including photographs, documents, artifacts, and maps related to the Civil War. It also contains letters between Union and Confederate generals as well as published histories about the era.
