The American Society of Military History is a museum and educational resource center located in Rosemead, California. It houses a collection of artifacts and exhibits that tell the story of America's military history. From the Revolutionary War to the Cold War and beyond, visitors can explore and learn about all of our nation’s great military achievements and struggles.
The museum offers an impressive array of interactive displays, innovative educational programs, and exciting events for all ages. The main exhibit “Paths to Victory” chronicles the battles and campaigns that shaped the United States from colonial times to the present day. Visitors can also explore other exhibits such as The Pacific Theater during World War II, African American Soldiers in the Civil War, Women in Military Service, and the Spanish-American War. Of course, there’s plenty more to discover!
Admission to the museum is free, but donations are strongly encouraged to help support its mission. Schools, universities and other organizations can also arrange for guided tours with educated docents who will provide context and insights into the history of our military. The museum also offers a number of special events throughout the year including educational seminars, film screenings, book signings and more.
