Since 1981, the Bemis Center’s sole mission has been to support contemporary artists of exceptional talent. We do this through our international artist-in-residence program, cutting edge exhibitions, and community arts projects. These programs directly support the artistic process, catalyzing artists’ work to engage and challenge the public.
