DeSales University - a world-class school

Founded in 1965 by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, DeSales University offers programs in a wide variety of disciplines under its five schools: Arts and Humanities; Sciences, Business and Education; Health Sciences; Hospitality and Management; and Social and Behavioral Sciences. With its main campus located on 2755 Station Avenue in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, the university offers a variety of residential settings, classes, laboratories, and extracurricular activities for its students.

DeSales is consistently ranked among the top universities in the country when it comes to value and quality of education. The university boasts an educated faculty and staff who bring expertise from their respective disciplines. In addition to the main campus, DeSales also has several satellite campuses in Bethlehem; Allentown; and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where students can pursue degree programs or take specialty classes.

The university provides ample opportunities for exploration of various academic disciplines. Students can choose from a wide array of majors, minors, and concentrations including pre-professional studies such as pre-medicine, pre-law, and pre-pharmacy. Regardless of concentration or major, all students are required to take a core curriculum that includes courses in the liberal arts, theology and religious studies, mathematics, science, English composition and literature, philosophy, and physical education. DeSales also has a wide variety of clubs and organizations including theatre groups, sports teams, honor societies, Greek life, student government associations, religious organizations, and more. Many student activities take advantage of the excellent facilities including the Michael James Wolf Education Center with its pool, fitness center, and basketball court; the DeSales University Arena with its 3-court facility; the University Center with its bistro; Bulger Communications Center; Grotto​ Garden Pavilion Picnic Grounds; Connolly Beach swimming hole; The Dome sports complex; the performing arts ​center “The Labuda Center for the Performing Arts”; a TV studio; recording studio; 1st class theatre; an art gallery; and modern classroom spaces for hands on learning.
