Kirkeskov School
The school was opened on April 5, 1956, as the first secondary school in the country of West Zealand. It was built on the border between Holsteinborg - Venslev and Ørslev - Sdr. Mountains municipalities according to a school association agreement and became named after the nearby forest.
Kirkeskovskolen has formed the framework for several generations of schooling during changing school life. The way to organize and organize teaching has changed a lot through these years, and the need for a more modern and flexible school has been pronounced. We are therefore very pleased with the total renovation that was completed in October / November 2003, which means that Kirkeskovskolen today appears as a functional, modern and well-maintained school.
