Muskingum University is an accredited learning institution situated in the town of New Concord, Ohio. Established in 1837, it is one of the oldest universities in the state of Ohio. It provides a four-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) degree programs, as well as a range of graduate degrees.

Sports at Muskingum University include baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and track & field. Additionally, Muskingum is home to 23 club sports teams that compete locally and nationally against other universities.
