In 2012, 516 ARTS was awarded the Southwest American Society of Association Executives’ Excellence in Program/Event Planning Award for its “En El Camino: Art along the Mexican Migration Path” exhibit. “En El Camino” was a traveling multimedia installation that explored the lives of migrants who journeyed through New Mexico in search of work and economic opportunity.
