Step Back in Time to a Place Rich with History Special Events The Gift Shop Historic Tours Luncheon Series Woman's Exchange Gift Shop Re-opens, Peña-Peck House Tours Resume July 9 The Woman's Exchange of St. Augustine, 143 St. George St., is pleased to announce that it is "back in business" on a limited basis beginning Thursday, July 9. The gift shop and tours of the historic house museum will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays. It closed March 16 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Members follow in the footsteps of women in the 19th century who began Woman's Exchanges to help other women who had fallen on hard times. Today, we continue to support talented consignors who enhance their lives through sales of original hand-crafted items. About the Woman's Exchange Among the oldest colonial properties in St. Augustine is the historic Peña-Peck House. This elegant estate is home to our gift shop, features guided tours, and serves as a highly sought-after venue for weddings and other special events. About the Pena Peck House Shopping at the Woman's Exchange The Woman's Exchange is a member of the national Federation of Woman's Exchanges that includes 20 shops in 12 states. When you shop at a Federation member store, you help a consignor achieve economic stability, enabling an Exchange to remain a viable business outlet for the consignors and vendors in the local community. The store carries our signature curried rice mix, as well as unique works of art, fashion and home decor.
