Jason Alexander - An American Actor, Comedian and Singer

Jason Alexander, born on September 23, 1959, is an American actor, voice actor, comedian and singer. He is best known for his role as George Costanza in the long-running television sitcom Seinfeld (1989–1998).

Alexander began his acting career as a teenager in New Jersey performing in dinner theatre and later joined the famed Actors Studio in New York City. He made his Broadway debut in the musical Merrily We Roll Along and won a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for Jerome Robbins' Broadway in 1989.

Alexander has also achieved considerable success as a voice actor and has appeared in numerous animated films such as The Lion King (1994), Anastasia (1997) and The Wild Thornberrys Movie (2002). He also provided the voice of the main character Rex in the Disney/Pixar film Toy Story (1995).

Alexander has appeared in many big-screen films, including Pretty Woman (1990), Shallow Hal (2001) and Down Periscope (1996). His television credits include roles on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1993–1996), Friends (1996–2004) and Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000–present).
