Kate Winslet, born in 1975, was a young and intrepid soul with a heart of gold. She overcame the odds, determined to find her own place in the world, her courage and tenacity unmatched.
Kate grew up in Reading, England with two siblings, a brother and a sister. Her mother was an actress who sang and danced, and her father was a swimming pool contractor.
