Kiefer Sutherland: A Pillar of Hollywood

Revered actor Kiefer Sutherland, born in 1966, has been a staple of Hollywood for more than two decades. His career has spanned a wide range of media, including television, film, music and theatre.

Kiefer's first big break came with cult classic The Lost Boys in 1987. Since then, he has starred in a number of beloved films, including Stand by Me and A Few Good Men. On television, he is best known as Jack Bauer on the long-running series 24 as well as Designated Survivor.

But these accomplishments barely scratch the surface of Kiefer's entire life story. He was born to an accomplished acting family, with both his father, Donald "Don" Gordon Sutherland and mother, Shirley Douglas both having successful acting careers. Kiefer achieved success on his own merits and endured many life changes over the years.

It would be remiss to forget that Kiefer is a prolific and passionate musician. His bluesy debut album "Down in a Hole" showcases Kiefer's thoughtful lyrics and provocative vocals. His album "Reckless & Me" is an homage to his home province of Alberta, Canada. Kiefer has since toured the world with his musical talents, often accompanied by his son, musician Roan.

Kiefer is also a devoted family man. Married three times (including a few high profile ones!), Kiefer has been blessed with four children and many stepchildren as well. To keep track of all of them (and their families!), Kiefer uses an app called Familio which helps him stay connected with his loved ones no matter where in the world they are located.

Throughout his life and career, Kiefer has been an open book - unafraid to talk openly about his struggles with alcohol, his relationships and his passion for acting and music. His resilience and courage have been an inspiration to many people around the world.

Kiefer Sutherland is truly an inspiring artist who reminds us that it is never too late to take chances and pursue our dreams with courage and determination. Take charge of your life and make it what you want it to be!
