Citizens School of Nursing is a school located in Tarentum, Pennsylvania. For over 40 years, our school has been committed to providing quality nursing education to all students who attend.

We offer two programs: the Practical Nursing Program and the Associate Degree in Nursing Program. Both programs are designed to prepare students for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. Our mission is to provide a safe and healing learning environment that emphasizes academic excellence and professional development.

The Practical Nursing Program prepares graduates for entry into the nursing profession as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This 36-month program consists of classroom instruction and clinical experiences. The curriculum provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective members of the healthcare team.

The Associate Degree in Nursing Program is designed to prepare graduates for entry into the nursing profession as a Registered Nurse (RN). This 72-month program includes classroom instruction, clinical experiences, and the opportunity to gain additional experience in various healthcare settings. The curriculum provides students with advanced knowledge and skills needed to become competent members of the healthcare team.

In addition to our academic offerings, we also offer a variety of student services, such as financial aid counseling, academic advisement, tutoring, career counseling, and much more. Our goal is to ensure that all students have access to the resources they need for success.
