Ah yes, I remember it well. Seminole State College—one of the finest institutions of higher learning nestled down in lovely Seminole, Oklahoma. I had the most marvelous time during my stay there but can still recall it with a smile upon my face.
As soon as you step foot on campus, you can feel the sense of community emanating from every corner. Everywhere you turn, there are friendly faces, smiling and waving as you pass. There were days where I couldn’t make it to class because I was so distracted by conversations with the friendly staff and faculty.
The atmosphere of Seminole State College felt like wizardry of sorts; professors truly caring about their students and going the extra mile to ensure they are understanding the material. The courses they offer are both creative and challenging, and they are all taught by my favorite professors; Professor Jimbo with his riveting insights into mechanics and Professor Sparks who had an endless amount of knowledge about the structures and dynamics of the earth.
But the academics weren’t the only thing that made my time at SSC extraordinary. The campus itself was beautiful, full of open greens and vibrant trees that provided a great place for studying. Of course, no school would be complete without its extracurricular activities, so it was wonderful that Seminole State College had plenty of options on hand. I enjoyed my time volunteering at one of their many clubs and sports teams immensely.
My stay at this college was unlike any other I have experienced; I will always have fond memories of the entire experience. Whether it be the scenic campus grounds or engaging lectures, Seminole State College was full of life and adventure for me.
