Anheuser House

Located in Imperial, Missouri, Anheuser House is a museum dedicated to the history and legacy of the Anheuser family. The Anheuser family is one of the most well-known brewing families in the United States and has been a major part of Missouri’s economy and culture for generations. The museum holds many artifacts and documents from the family’s early days in St. Louis, as well as more recent achievements.

The original Anheuser House was built by Adolphus Busch and his wife in 1845. At that time, the property was little more than a farmhouse. Adolphus and his wife soon began brewing beer and building an empire that would become famous around the world. Their children took over the company, eventually leading to the formation of what we now know as Anheuser Busch InBev.

The current museum, located on 6000 Windsor Harbor Ln, was built in 2007 to preserve the Anheuser family’s legacy and tell the history of the brewing industry. Inside, visitors can explore exhibits about the history of brewing, learn about the process from grain to glass, and discover how modern methods have changed the industry over time.

Anheuser House also houses a collection of historic artifacts from the early 1900s, including photographs, bottles, cans, advertising materials, and more. There is even a special section dedicated to Adolphus Busch’s collection of woodworking tools.
